1. No offense, but I've been seeing it in classes for over a decade.
None taken, that was exactly my point. That's why I said, I don't want to give you nightmares.
I was terrified by the lack of basic knowledge by most of the class
I don't want to give you nightmares, but you only saw 20 people that day. They say 1 in 3 Americans owns a gun. Imagine how little they know. Even worse! The first time I ever shot a gun, I had never shot a gun bef...

re: Official AR-15 thread - Propagandalf
The bolt catch is 3/32"
Be careful using the 3/32" to drive in the bolt catch roll pin. I have found that if whacked hard enough on a stubborn pin or hole the punch will spread the pin and drive itself into the pin. That's why I only use it when 90% of the pin is already driven in....

I use [link=(http://sulzerfirearms.com/bolt-catch-elongated-starter-punch/)]THIS[/link] to drive in the bolt catch roll pin most of the way. Then finish with a 1/8 roll pin punch until flush and drive it a little bit into the hole with a 3/32 roll pin punch. For the Trigger guard I start it with a ...

I prefer soft cases, 42" should work fine. Hard cases I find are clunky, heavy and just don't move and load in the truck as well as soft cases. They also tend to be more expensive for a good one....
i paid less than you paid for a brand new G23 a few weeks ago
That is special pricing not readily available to the general public without jumping through hoops (have to sign up with GSSF and cannot instantly use the coupon) and does not include the membership fee you paid for the d...

I prefer the 15". The difference in weight between my 15" rails and 13" rails is 1.1oz. So, if weight is a big decision for you don't sweat it too much. You won't notice a difference. ...

re: Official AR-15 thread - Propagandalf
Are you looking to put the sight at the rifle length position or butt it up against the existing gas block. If it is the latter, then just run the FSB. No need for 2 gas blocks. If it is the former you will need to make sure the diameter of the barrel is .750 where you want to put the FSB, which it ...

re: converting 5.56 to .300 Blackout - Propagandalf
Something to think about, since you will already have to get/build a .300BLK upper...you can build a pistol lower for less than a $200 tax stamp. Then you'd have 2 ARs! :dude: Unless you meant you literally just wanted to swap the barrel when you wanted to shoot .300BLK. While possible, it is cer...

re: Going to BR to file for concealed handgun permit? Worth it? - Propagandalf
