You´ve only been able to see European kids wearing the odd Chelsea strip in the past ten years, and recently, with greater frequency.
As for Arsenal and Chelsea vying to be considered as London´s club, I get what you´re saying, and can agree to some extent, however on the internati...
| Soccer Board|| re: Match Day 3/2 - wm72 on 3/2/15 at 6:05 pm|
Yeah, kind of a disappointing match altogether.
I guess it was at least a decent sign that Roma fought back and leveled after going down to 10 men but it's kind of odd that we only created a lot of chances after being shorthanded.
My rant: Today, De Sanctis kicked long 19 times and Roma se...
When's the last time you've heard racist chants on a train in America?
Of course, racism manifest itself in totally different ways in different places but I would agree that racist chanting on the train and barring entry seems a particularly English tradition.
| Alabama Sports Board|| re: Which Alabama Basketball squad had the most talent? - wm72 on 3/2/15 at 3:55 am|
I'm not old enough to have watched them so I'm not sure about the rest of the squad but I would imagine the CM Newton team with King, Dunn and Douglas.
The Sprewell, Horry and Hollywood Robinson team seems stacked but Sprewell and Horry were good but really blossomed more as p...
Because Grant sucks and Bama doesn't need to make it any harder on themselves than it already is
Alabama's OOC schedule was pretty tough this year as it included @Witchita St, Iowa St (n), @Xaxier, UCLA, Ariz St (who was bad this year but solid program).
Some of the lower ov...

SEC bubble teams may owe a debt of gratitude to LSU for keeping those RPIs under 200.
| Alabama Sports Board|| re: *** Official Fire Anthony Grant Part Deux *** - wm72 on 3/1/15 at 2:37 pm|
Arkansas and LSU have a better starting five mainly because they both have a couple of NBA (or at least NBA fringe) players that make enough of the type plays to win tight games. Like when we played both of them.
I know it's almost sacrilegious to compliment Grant but some games like Arkansas...

Yeah, that does seem a better method but haven't really followed it enough in the past to have an idea how much more accurate it usually ends up.

Historically Lunardi is more accurate in guessing what the committee will actually decide.

| SEC Rant|| re: True or False: if Ole Miss goes 1-1 in their last two, they're out - wm72 on 2/28/15 at 3:25 pm|
I wouldn't think they're out if they finish 1 and 1 but it may mean they'll need to not lose the first SEC tourney game against another non-tourney team.
They still have some wins that are probably going to stack up well against other bubble teams: @Arky @Oregon Cincinnati(N)...

I really don't know. You may want to try to ask elsewhere online where you can find more Roma fans that bought tickets when visiting like that Chiesa di Totti forum.

Good tickets. I've usually always done Distincti Sud but Monte Mario are better tickets. Better view, more calm regular families and older people usually sit there in greater numbers. They are a bit more expensive but that also makes them easier to find.

Yeah, that's a really good point you make about 3-10 type matchups from the top league tables against each other and teams from smaller leagues potentially telling a lot more about the leagues than what the couple of super powers at the top do.
I guess that's the logic behind it.

A bit ironically, having lots of teams do pretty well in EL gives you a lot better coefficient score than a couple doing well in CL.

Parma has been in a tailspin for years since Parmalat has all their legal troubles and pulled out. It's a miracle they were so good last year.
Doesn't mean much more for the league as a whole than a Leeds in England having hard times since Serie A has so many bigger sides.

It's totally on the rise from the past few seasons. Most clubs have figured out that you need to sell a few players if the price is too high, not give massive contracts to aging stars and sign a lot of quality youth and work on building a club owned stadium.
However, some of the huge Europa Lea...
