Probably depends on if you have someone with a disability, Down syndrome etc close to them. If I have a Down syndrome child it would offend me. Just like if I was black, the n word would offend me. Same with any other derogatory racist term.

The only thing that makes me think it could possibly be domestic (and nonmuslim) is that it is such an international draw, more than just Amercans attend and were hurt, but then again there were lot of foreigners hurt in 9/11, and international terrorists seem to be pretty equal opportunity....

Honestly if I had been in that same situation/flight today, I would have probably just gotten off the plane and caught the next one. Wouldn't have made a scene without evidence or proof of suspicious behavior, but just being in that flight wouldn't be worth the risk to me or my family. Bash away....
