re: Jacques Imo's Recommendations - LSU0358

re: Bloody few days, especially for me. - LSU0358
My tale of woe for the year is as follows...I'm down in the 18% to 20% range this for the year. I screwed up and got too greedy with Nasdaq futures early this year and felt the pain. Then the chop fest from February to now hit me another 7 to 10%. This is the life of a futures trader, though The ...

re: Now's The Time To End Tax Exemptions For Religious Institutions - LSU0358
They can't do that. The government has to use that non-profit status as a carrot to intimidate churches into doing what they want.
This is the only reason it'll stay in place in my opinion. The gloves would be off for priests and preachers. A large church would be able to domin...

re: Why aren't precious metals spiking? - LSU0358
grain and natural gas
These two are kind of a in a world of their own as far as trading goes. They are much more seasonal (especially grains). Then in natural gas there is also the component of it not being a world wide traded commodity (I know with LNG it is heading there, but s...

re: Traveling through Europe right now: currency? - LSU0358
If Greece leaves the EU I would expect the euro to appreciate pretty significantly.
I think any kind of settlement here the Euro goes up as well. Just ending the uncertainty will give a medium term boost. USD rally continues later this year IMO. ...

re: OT mechanics how long does synthetic oil last - LSU0358
I've got a 2007 Silverado. I never change oil with less than 5,000 miles (sometimes I'll go to 6,000) and I use 5W-30 (ie no synthetic oil). I'm at 145,000 miles and haven't had a problem yet....

I've really enjoyed the Internet melts this week - LSU0358
I don't care about the stars and bars, those that fly it are for the most part backwards looking idiots (unless in the case of cemeteries or reenactments). On gay marriage, I don't think the government should stand in the way of consenting adults. The melt downs and hissy fits have been humorou...
Next up National Health Care.
Inevitable IMO. The masses must be convinced that we all have the same healthcare. This will be required over the next 20 to 30 years as baby boomers die off and most won't be able to afford good care in their final days. The sheeple must be made t...
