Thank you. A rare voice of reason in this cacophany of pointless SEC pride. It should be obvious that it is not in LSU's interest that Bama win back to back championships. We recruit against those guys, not Oregon or K-State....

Wrong. Recruiting for LSU baseball should be easy. Best fan base in the country and top-notch facilities. Recruiting for LSU basketball means trying to convince kids to to come to a place where their sport is an afterthought....

We're spending plenty of money on the coach. Our salary is competitive. But if we don't provide an atmosphere in which players want to play, we can't expect top players to come here. Our fan support battles Ole Miss for worst in the SEC....

Hard to predict, given the limited numbers and fickleness of the LSU basketball fanbase. They were awful in BR, but they were without their best player, Holloway. who was hurt, in addition to the guy they suspended for pot. They're also a much tougher team at home. Tad Smith is small but it gets loud and tough for visitors for a big game....

Our struggles since he left (actually, since he ran out of gas after Shaq left) should make us realize what a remarkable job Daddy Dale did in a state that really doesn't give a flip about basketball. Don't know that we'll ever get back there again. We don't have a single player who would be in UK...

Agree we're probably not a tourney team but this is a huge win for a young team. They played like scared little boys in the first few minutes but stepped it up after they settled in. If they can carry that into conference play they'll be competitive....
