You made the right call being there. When I had to put our dog down a few years ago I was there and petting him as he faded peacefully. It was hard but comforting to be there for him. And as someone said above, just take comfort in the fact that you provided her with a good home and love for th...
While I've enjoyed following this thread, the RT score will have no bearing on me seeing the movie. The other day I looked at my ranking list compared to the RT rankings in order, and it's different enough that I know not to trust the reviews on movies I already want to see.
Exactl...

Dang. The reviewer from the New Jersey Star-Ledger is waxing poetic about the movie:
The movie knows that junk art is still art, that no one is more in need of something to speak for them than the inarticulate — and with that it takes the secret pull of comic geekdom and elevates it to a ...

What! You mean movies take liberties in their telling of real life events and people? I'm shocked I tell you. Shocked.  Although one of the quotes from that article actually parallels a scene from the movie:
But Paspatis has long argued that Boone was an egalitarian only...

From the best I can make it out (I have this poster as my desktop background so I have a decent size pic of it) it sure does look like that Lady Torch. But yeah, she seems to be an extremely minor character (I had not even heard of her). So unless they had some kind of push on for her when this cam...

Not Storm because he's shown a little lower and to the right. Could be Phoenix I guess. I'm not ultra familiar with her. But the flame halo around her I think takes more the shape of a bird than the dome looking halo shown here. ...

Marvel fans, help me identify this character - Methuselah
The flying flaming character to the right of center towards the top of the poster. I can't figure it out and it's driving me crazy. It's not the torch and its not Firebird because they are shown. I don't think its Firestar because she usually doesn't have that much flame around her. I guess it c...

GotG is holding pretty strong as of now with 92%. In cases where the reviews are overwhemingly positive, I like to check out the negative reviews to see if their take is something I'm likely to share. (Besides which some of the comments on the negative reviews make the Rant after a loss seem mild)...

Q for River Parish historians - the wooden pier like structure off I-10 W/B - Methuselah
Does anybody know what the story is behind the decayed wooden pier like structure that is off to the right of I-10 westbound near the St. Charles/St. John line where it skirts the edge of the lake?
It also has the unobtainable task of following LOTR.
This is a valid point but I think it is unavoidable.
