This.....Olsen came out of Notre Dame as a center. The fact he is listed as a guard doesn't mean he forgot how to play center. He was active all of the games last year as a swing man...center or guard....

I certainly wouldn't mind an upgrade but he's not chopped liver either. He's still a good blocking TE and although he only had 11 receptions last year, 4 of them went for td's.
Played in 15 games last year, too, so the health issues might not be as big of a concern as they were from the year bef...

Not necessarily.
A guaranteed roster bonus and a guaranteed signing bonus are two different thing. Both are guaranteed to the player. The signing bonus is due to the player when he signs.......

Yeah the salary, which isn't guarateed is what gets moved around.
Like with Lofton this year. His contract runs for 5 more years. So by taking his 5 million salary for this year and converting it to a roster bonus, which is now guaranteed, they were able to spread that money out for the next 5 y...
