This.....Olsen came out of Notre Dame as a center. The fact he is listed as a guard doesn't mean he forgot how to play center. He was active all of the games last year as a swing man...center or guard....

| re: WalterFootball.com 7 rd mock - monroesaintsfan on 4/24/13 at 10:06 am
3. Jesse Williams
Williams is pretty much just a run plugger. Doesn't Ryan prefer more athletic NT's?
But other than that, I like their mock. Mauti, in my opinion would be worth the gamble in the 6th. His last knee injury, which was late last year, was from a dirty hit but unt...

He missed 2 or 3 games last year....and he didn't have a carry until the 7th game. 3 years in the league and he's carried the ball in 24 regular season games. ...

A good chance that someone big might be Bushrod or his replacement. I'd imagine if they had anything to spare they might want to consider an early deal for Graham before he get's any more leverage, too....

| re: Possible David Thomas replacements.... - monroesaintsfan on 3/5/13 at 8:04 am I certainly wouldn't mind an upgrade but he's not chopped liver either. He's still a good blocking TE and although he only had 11 receptions last year, 4 of them went for td's.
Played in 15 games last year, too, so the health issues might not be as big of a concern as they were from the year bef...

I agree. As good as Ivory can be when healthy, he doesn't stay healthy for very long when he's used much.....or that's been his history so far....

I think Greer gets too much grief for last year and not enough consideration for having a sports hernia operation in Aug. It's a wonder he was able to play as well as he did....

Might be a lot bigger number behind that minus sign next year without a big pay cut or cut period.

Yeah, that's what I was getting at. Each team also gets a 2 player/yr. post June 1st exception, where they can cut them earlier and still have it spread over two years.
That's what I was getting at about Smith, he only has two years left on his contract. ...
