never had DTV personally, but i will say coming from Charter Communications to U-verse - best decision i have made.
been on for a few months, and have only had 1 service interruption - and it was for about 20 minutes as something was rebooted - aside from that no issues....

and? success nowadays are measured on who wins the titles. not to completely disregard your points, because they are valid - but at the end of the day the only real measuring stick of the Conferences that anyone really pays attention to are championships.
