Replace your filter EVERY time you get your electric bill. Not changing your filter cost you a ton of money in electricity use and equipment repair costs.

You need to match the regulator to the gas valve on the burner assembly, assuming those are a set.
If the valve calls for 7"-11"of wc then get a regulator that matches, you will probably still need to adjust it. when you do the adjustment make sure you know what the pressure is, don't guess.

Not all electricians will have one but you can pick one up at any big box store.
They are a really common item. Just be sure one get one with a large enough diameter for the cable to get through the hole without a lot of effort....
