I'm on sprint and just switched myself to the $60 unlimited plan. When i get a new phone i will have to do the monthly payment plan. I saved myself a whole $10/month for my bill with my fiance. Think you did the right thing by sticking with the contract. I probably should have as well especially...

i just moved back here and got my LA license last friday. i showed up. she asked me if i had a previous license in LA. Gave her my SS number. Gave her my GA license and i had a LA license.
I was completely amazed they didn't ask or need proof of living here. GA required me to at least have a...

yea, my bad. for some reason i had forgot about NiCd and just assume NiMh was the crappier version. i thought my rechargeables were Li-ion and not NiMh. Also, assumed since almost everything else used Li-ion that there were AA sizes of them....

it is not trash. i'm running 2 of them as HTPCS, which is more than what his dad would be running the PC for. If he takes your recommendations he'll be spending 3x the money he would need to for a glorified email/internet box.

i don't see them ever really drm'ing SD channels. why pirate a crappy resolution or 4:3 program? The drm the HD channels due to quality video that exceeds DVD quality.

When I lived in Georgia I was able convert ALL my recordings to h.264 with my htpc. Now in Baton rouge, I cant convert HBO. All other channels are still copy freely. Use mcebuddy to convert and strip commercials. Then you can watch recorded shows on any device.
Just saw the post above, I hav...

I watch tv shows (h.264) on my nexus with no issues by just moving them as if my tablet was a HDD.

if you have dish, then they are your best bet for 1 tv. the first STB is free from them. (I think DirecTV may also be). If you want more tv's it can quickly add up.
i personally use a HDHomerun w/ cable card. If you have a win7 pc you can watch all the tv you want on it and it's 3 tuners! If...

yup. CDMA technology allows for the carriers to verify the phone over the network. This is why you have to call sprint or verizon to activate a phone and AT&T and T-mobile just have to move the SIM card to activate a phone....
| Tech Board|| re: Can I get a Sprint phone to work on Verizon? - mchias1 on 8/6/14 at 1:49 pm|
