Having worked at almost all the major hospitals in br as a resident, I would tell u this:
If you have a minor or common problem, your care will likely be the same anywhere you go, and OLOL will likely be the least convenient place to get it.

You would need 2/3 of the states to call the meeting, and 3/4 to pass anything. Looking at the 2012 election map, it seems unlikely, but possible.

Just a few things that might slow your roll p-man:
1. It takes an average of 8-10 yrs to bring a new medicine to market (b/c of trials and waiting on safety and outcomes data). Even if the technology is there (which it won't be) it will take a lot more than 30 yrs for the system to change to that...

I agree with most of what u said, but here's a piece of advice from a guy who just finished residency.
Don't waste the very limited, very precious free time that u have trying to convince these people that they are wrong.
It's like trying to argue with a 3 yr old.

Everything you said is data manipulation/transmission etc.
Nothing you said is data acquisition on the scale that would be required of "biosensing technology" in order for it to be useful.
But hey, maybe next week I can ride a hover board to work at the rate you thing technology is growing.

I think you are significantly overestimating the reliability and underestimating the cost of your "bio sensing technology". Currently even simple computerized things like intra-operative nerve monitoring generally require fairly extensive human expertise to provide useful data. (And adds significant...

I feel like its very relevant.
A computer/diagnostic machine would only be as effective as the information that goes into it, and most of the diagnosis is generally made based on history.
