re: LSU greatest coach any sport - Macavity92
Pat Henry is a great track coach no doubt. He gets a chance every year to win FOUR NCs...indoor, outdoor, mens and womens.
He won 10 outdoor national titles in a row with the women. 10. I think that makes him the greatest. ...

re: Why is wanting better for LSU football a negative? - Macavity92
Nothing wrong with wanting to compete for championships and also nothing wrong with understanding that it will not happen every year. ...

re: Miles said he wasn't going to UM at his press conference - Macavity92
saban had a rebuilding year this year, and he's got the #1 team, won the conference, is in the playoffs, and his RB-turned-QB had a better year this year than our super star QB did last year (with 2 NFL WRs and an NFL RB on the roster)
Rebuilding? Let's review the facts. Saban h...

re: Miles said he wasn't going to UM at his press conference - Macavity92
Bingo. This means one of two things. Either Harbaugh is a done deal and Hackett let Miles know so that this bit of face saving could be done or Miles is letting UM know that he might still be interested but that they need to act fast and not make him an offer when they have been turned down 3-4 ti...

re: What would it take - Macavity92
I think he may take less for himself but if UM wants to contend any coach it hires needs 5-6 mil for the assistant pool. They underpay assistants compared to other top programs right now and this has to change....

re: Let's go over the Harbaugh/Michigan timeline/questions... - Macavity92
another question: What is the deadline for the 49ers to trade Harbaugh?
I don't know that there is a deadline by rule but I would think that any team would want its coaching situation resolved by late January to begin preparing for free agency and the draft. ...

re: Let's go over the Harbaugh/Michigan timeline/questions... - Macavity92
Harbaugh isn't going to accept a trade. Why would he?
If they tried to trade him his agent would probably be allowed to try to negotiate an extension, raise and more control with the other team. This would increase SF's bargaining power....

re: Is Harbaugh being selfish? - Macavity92
This is not about loyalty. It is about negotiating the best deal. It is also about making sure you do what you want to do. If I were him I would want to know what team was the true choice for a trade before I made a decision....

re: Miles not what Michigan is looking for? - Macavity92
Miles has had 7 seasons at LSU with quarterbacks he recruited, 2008-2014. During those 7 years, LSU only experienced one season where a QB played well, and that wad Mett in 2013.
So the quarterbacks we had 2005-2007, including Flynn, who spent more time under Miles than any other...

re: Jim Harbaugh and Butch Jones not interested in Michigan - Macavity92
I agree with this. I think the University wants to get back to a Don Canham type of AD though. The AD should promote and raise money. Not try and squeeze the fanbase for every nickel.
