take AD off and replace him with MKG
Would they have fallen to 2? I cant remember. If it's later, Lillard/Drummond become possibilities. Hell, maybe they draft them at 2 over MKG. Aminu was only 20 and they wanted him to be the 3.
This is a fun hypo. They probably still get Ande...
Has the slow build ever really worked
There is no correct way to rebuild.
You know, critics of Demps say the exact same thing: drafting a 19 year old MVP talent and then trading future assets for young non star vets has never worked either. Doesn't mean it can't, but it's no sur...
I think his best option is to try and turn some of these young guys into a star via a trade, like the Harden deal.
Imo, there's zero chance a bunch of 21-22 year olds turn the franchise around. Especially when they've been conditioned to have no expectations.
That's been the pl...
I'm curious as to why there was so much of the latter last year? Was it because in the media's eyes we built "the wrong way"?.
Nah. Plenty of high profile outlets were kind in preseason forecasts even if commenting that the Holiday and Evans moves were risky and that the team might...

Yeah. I agree with both of you.
I'm all for him adding 3pt range, like I said before it's just smart. I don't think it will open up space in the way I've understood some of the comments in this thread. But it will be useful and just a nightmare for defenses.
If he can pick and pop from 3, the...
The addition of Asik tells me that AD is more comfortable as a more perimeter oriented player.
At this point he is. Been saying that.
I think there's a difference of understanding going on in this conversation. Perimeter to me means beyond the 3pt line, not just away from the p...
No one wants him chucking up 3's everytime he touches the ball, but if teams are going to dare him to shoot it by clogging the lane leaving him somewhat open, wouldn't you rather him be able to knock it down?
I don't know how this would be possible. Your saying that Davis wouldn't be abl...
I generally agree with this principle
He doesn't need to hit 3s. He put up crazy offensive numbers playing 1100 combined minutes with the floor spacing stylings of Stiemsma/Ajinca. Toss in Aminu and Evans and it's ridiculous what he did last season with the lack of spacing a...

Not a bad showing at all considering all the drama the last few weeks. Offense was disjointed, but they will fix that. Defense was good enough, but can still clean it up.
A few player thoughts:
Thompson looked bad. Very bad
Not terribly impressed with Plumlee either. He looked good in garba...
