Heres a great breakdown of the play and Indys defense. Vogel catching tons of shite for having Hibbert on the bench, but I agree with this read and dont think it was necessarily the wrong move here.

great play from spoelstra. sam young was terrified of leaving bosh. should have had a foot in the lane once bosh floated to the far corner.
george closeout was terrible, but he plays off and he gets killed for giving up an open jumper. cant give up a lay up there and that falls on his help defens...

Skeptical they do that as well for the same reasons, but who knows how they feel after losing in the semis. Ownership might say damnit all and demand a 3rd "star" to help score. If all they are offering are basically 4 rookie contracts, I dont know what type of big move is out there....

Barnes is the better athlete, but that doesnt necessarily mean anything. According to DX, Shabazz has similar measurables as Caron Butler and Ruben Patterson, so sfs that size can make it in the league

Like Wise Guy said, teams can sell picks. Hornets did this w/ Darrell Arthur and Cole Aldrich. Just a way for owners to avoid tax or just be cheap.
