re: What is the ultimate strip club name? NSFW - Cali-to-Death Valley
About 3 or 4 years ago there was one that was open on Bourbon Street for such a short period of time that they had a hand written cardboard by the door where the girls stood in full skankitization, it simply read "Whiskey and Titts"...

re: Magnitude 6.0 Earthquake Hits California - Cali-to-Death Valley
Hey folks this one was no joke. Lived through many quakes, this one was definitely the strongest since Loma Prieta in '89. We live less than 20 miles from the epicenter. It rolled very strong for a good 15-20 seconds. Actually had some difficulty making it down the hallway in a straight line. Was st...

re: "Militarization of the Police" discussion - Cali-to-Death Valley
Just like our military, I want the cops to have superior fire power to the criminals. And they should be held accountable for when they screw the pooch.
Was a cop for over 33 years and this statement is truly how it should be. Look I know for a fact (yes did time on a tactical tea...

re: How big is LSU football in your life? - Cali-to-Death Valley
LSU football is a big part of my life. Not so much going bat shite crazy if LSU wins or loses but because of the traditions and bonds that I have formed with my children, family and friend regarding LSU football that includes coming from Cali to Death Valley with them for at least one game every year....

re: City with the worst rush hour traffic you've ever been in? - Cali-to-Death Valley
Over the past 10-15 years the SF Bay Area easily has rivaled LA. There are many times when it seems like every road in the 9 Bay Area Counties are completely gridlocked. The 101 from San Jose to SF sucks 24/7. Then you have that parking lot that forms every day northbound 101 from Petaluma Blvd. Sou...

re: Female singers from the 70's. - Cali-to-Death Valley
Sandwich me between Marilyn McCoo and Carly Simon and I'd die a happy man. I had severe hots for them when I was back in HS. Lusting aside, voice-wise they were also tied for second as my two favorite singers of my teenage years (early-mid 70's), only behind Miss Irma who will always be my favorite ...

re: People who get married weekday evenings? - Cali-to-Death Valley
My oldest daughter is getting married in Healdsburg (Sonoma County Wine Country) in 3 weeks on a Saturday. To have the wedding on a Friday is -$1500, Sunday -$1200, weekday -$3000 for the venue. So if people are strapped for cash to have a reception any day but Saturday saves big $$$. Caterers, flow...

1968 Sugar Bowl versus Wyoming. I was 11 and to show you where my head was at, the only thing I remember about the game was 1-the drive with my Uncle and Dad from the San Francisco Bay Area and 2-It was cold, wet and I was miserable. Wish I really could remember something more about that game....
