This. If you want a crispier bark, don't wrap it. A butt is fatty enough that it will stay moist and tender without the foil wrap. It will take a little longer to cook since you won't...

| re: Ordering an Old Fashioned - Woody on 5/29/13 at 7:57 am Yeah that straw is for stirring, not for drinking.
Try making your own at home. Play with the ingredients a bit until you get it the way you like it. Some have already been posted, here's mine:
1. In old fashioned glass, muddle one slice of orange (I'll also use blood orange or satsuma in seas...

| re: Live shrimp hooks for specks and reds - Woody on 5/25/13 at 12:36 pm
Which ones have to be set?
No set on a circle hook. I wouldn't use them for speckled trout. A fish has to get the whole circle in his mouth for a circle hook to set properly. You'll miss a lot of soft bites. They are fine for using cut bait to target bull reds.
They are also requi...

| re: Why does it seem like most of the recruits we are after are must gets? - Woody on 5/21/13 at 11:16 am No doubt...and as you said, depth goes a long way in this league. Your team might not regress much from year "A" to year "B", but when you have to keep up with the rest of the league a small step up or drop off goes a long way. Going back to last year, you had probably 6 games that could have gone e...

| re: Why does it seem like most of the recruits we are after are must gets? - Woody on 5/21/13 at 10:48 am It's because LSU and its fans expect a team that will compete for SEC and national championships. To compete at that level, you must bring in the highest level talents. It's a talent arms race in the SEC and a program can fall behind quickly if they don't keep up. The stakes are high and there is no...

You'll probably spend $200-$250 on a double jet burner and a decent 100 qt pot. If this is a one-time thing, I'd look into borrowing one.
Ice the crabs before boiling. Put a thin layer of ice in an ice chest, place a layer of crabs, another ...
