current Bama run is not quite a "dynasty" yet.
Why not? No clear separation from the other contenders in the conference (LSU, Fla) for an extended period of time... not yet.

historically, the 4 schools in question are LSU, Alabama, Florida, and South Carolina.
Bama's been elite.
LSU had long stretches of being very good.
Florida had occasional periods of being good.
South Carolina was an also-ran.

Saban- cautious optimism; like others have noted, Dinardo stopped the trend of LSU sliding into an Ole Miss level of obscurity, and I hoped that Saban would pull us back into an 8-win level of respectability (like Dinardo's earlier years).

Honestly, I would have liked to see Jordan Jefferson worked at the slot and/or H-back in 2011, with Lee still at QB. He was slow for LSU WR standards, but he was pretty big, good in space with the ball, had game experience (something the Tigers lacked at WR that season).
