Notre Dame, '97. Temps in the 20s by halftime and we got absolutely murdered 24-6. Our 6 points was via a garbage time TD with 6:35 to go in the game. Only redeeming grace was that we eventually went on to beat ND's arse in the Indy Bowl later tha...

One of my favorite moments as a fan was sitting in the student section as this began and then took off through the w...

If it pertains to disappointments, the worst season has to be the '98 season. We entered the season ranked #7 and then proceeded to go 4-7. This was the first year of the famed Lou Tepper "Drop Linebacker" defense. I was a stu...

I think the snap I was referring to actually came from a grad assistant/coach and not one of our centers. Just thought that was really bad even for them.
As far as the other exchange problems, I am not as concerned since some of them a...

You would be more unnerved if you knew how many times military aviators did simulated attacks on cities or buildings within cities. You should take a guess at how many times I've simulated dropping a nuclear bomb on Tuscaloosa or Oxford. Hell, toda...

They do not have built in diapers. If they are going on a really long sortie, some of the pilots do wear Depends just in case they need it. For going #1, they have what's called piddle packs which...

Yes, the B-2 has a "crew relief station" as does the B-1 and the B-52. As it was designed in the '50s the B-52's is far less glamorous than the others, but it works in an emergency....

Not so quick on that assumption. If you are referring to airframe parts, then yeah we have a bunch of that. But subcomponents are a much different issue. Even if the subcomponent is still on one of the birds out there, it is not very likely to work....

 | re: Greatest aircraft in the history of aviation (post pics of your nomination) - FlyingTiger06 on 3/26/13 at 9:30 pm Of course I am biased, but the answer has to be the BUFF. The AF currently plans to keep the BUFF around until 2040, but the airframe could last well into the 2050s which would be over 100 years of service. The newest BUFF rolled off the Wichita, KS assembly line in Sept 1962 making all of the cur...
