Exactly. The chances of an animal getting to that stage in its life is pretty slim and impressive. He has probably been around since before WWI, I wouldn't be shooting him just to post a picture and make a soup, same thing for big gators. Then again I think for the most part the human speci...
Most people wouldn't because there is a certain level of respect for something so graceful and awe-inspiring. But you probably wouldn't think twice about shooting a buzzard. Any animal that has lived for 50-100 years on this Earth has earned his place.
Up vote. This guy gets i...
What does the wooden spoon thing even mean?
Haha, from the water boy movie. I've got no problem using one, I just choose to let the big boys, old timers live. I get the same enjoyment letting them walk/swim away as I do bringing the smaller ones home for dinner....
I don't understand this at all. What does age have to do with it, and if age does have anything to do with it, isn't taking older ones better?
There is a difference in being a hunter and an outdoorsman. I hope you and your kids catch tons of fish, but you need to stop and think that if you are catching fish somewhere, it likely isn't that well known by people who will quickly turn the place into the lsu lakes. Also think of the people who already fish that spot and don't want it to go to shite eithe...
