Are you asking for leader to main line knots or leader to terminal knots? Leader to mainline, go with an alberto knot if you're having difficulty cinching down the uni-uni knot. For leader to terminal connection, a palomar or snell is the go-to....

Wahoo fishing is best in October-December. Mahi should still be around well into the fall. Tuna on the lump are definitely an option, and AJ season re-opens come August as well. There is PLENTY to target in a boat that size 365 days a year. Haven't even touched on grouper, snapper, etc......
