re: Your go to knots for 100+ lb leader? - The Last Coco
Tying back to the main line is what I was really hoping to learn about. We cast at Tarpon and need a ~6' leader. I liked the idea of not using a swivel and tying straing to the line so I could reel it up a bit if needed. No luck with anything i've tried.
Try the Alberto (also called...

re: Your go to knots for 100+ lb leader? - The Last Coco
Are you asking for leader to main line knots or leader to terminal knots? Leader to mainline, go with an alberto knot if you're having difficulty cinching down the uni-uni knot. For leader to terminal connection, a palomar or snell is the go-to....

Alright OB, I need some help on this one. I am trying to design a blind for the Cuda 14 I suspect I'll be duck hunting from this year. Here is what I have so far: The rear portion can b...
That report you saw most likely was young wood ducks.
Yup. Round NWLA the woodie hatchlings are just about perfect teal size. Coupled with the "polar vortex" (why can't we just call it a cold front... anyway I digress) and hopeful hunters think they are seeing teal. The only birds I...

Wahoo fishing is best in October-December. Mahi should still be around well into the fall. Tuna on the lump are definitely an option, and AJ season re-opens come August as well. There is PLENTY to target in a boat that size 365 days a year. Haven't even touched on grouper, snapper, etc......
