If you're gonna get a stick, get the Amazon FireTV Stick - it's the best stick available. Of the two you posted, the Roku stick is better, but the Fire Stick is the best stick out there....

3700 utility box - Shallow diving crankbaits, jerk baits and hollow body frogs

As already suggested, 20# fluoro leader is what I recommend going with. I use a uni-to-uni knot for my braid to fluoro connections for inshore.
I'm not as picky when it comes to my leader material....
what's the benefit of the 8 strand braid over the 4 strand?
Smoother, rounder braid. Limper, easier to tie knots, more manageable with better castability. Also, if it does get nicked, you're less likely to break off because it has more strands to distribute the strength with. If you...
How far can you cast with your 30# braid compared with 15 or 20?
I don't notice a substantial difference and the additional strength and abrasion resistance of the 30# makes up for any little loss in casting distance. The only reason I use 20# braid on my Penn Slammer 260 is line c...

I'm in favor of STAR rods. I have a Stellar Lite M action, 7'6" on an older Penn Slammer 260 and love it. Should run you right around $100, maybe $110. I've caught everything on that set-up. Redfish, trout, snook, catfish, bass, bonita, small mangroves, bluefish, and even a juvenile goliath grouper....

I use braid for nearly everything except throwing crankbaits. I have found that using braid allows for better casting distance and accuracy, increased bite sensitivity and cheaper long-term line costs.
Using braid allows me to reduce the power level of my rod by one versus mono which correlates t...
