Starting salaries were going backwards for a while. Tuition probably up 25% and market saturated regardless of what anyone says- it will get worse before it gets better.
I met a vet this spring with 580k in accumulated undergrad and dvm loans and realizing after the fact the hopelessness of the sit...

Diet will help the most (RX food- ud or cd, etc)but schauzers are notorious for these things (and pancreatitis). Seen the same dog have surgery 7 times on the proper diet
Makes a difference if they are struvite or caOx, but either way his diet needs to be meticulous.
I hope your vet told you ...

Been gone for 5 years. Want to second the opinion on Middleton as well. I remember walking in the first time and thinking "wheres the rest of it?" I don't recall hearing any proposals to upgrade that building- Plattsburgh State and Bates have better libraries for 1/6 the student body (I know Bate...

I attended and worked for LSU for 10 years. They had/have everything they needed to be ultra successful and screwed it up. They touched on turning things around with Emmert and then O'Keefe and Lombardi butted heads (Lombar...

Bill Buckner shouldn't even be in this conversation.
Like was mentioned before, Schiraldi and Stanley and Gedman totally got the yips and blew that game. Nevermind McNamara and Clemens arguing about who pulled who out. It was a tie game when that ball goes between his legs. Its not like it was a 3 ...

If you are looking used, don't be afraid of the 2_50 and 2_55 JDs either. Own a 2550 and have driven a 2755 and 3055 and they are tough and reliable. No computers and have the bullet proof rotary injection pump. A tractor from up north , 4000 hours is my cut off. Down south where its warmer and ...

In that horsepower range, Deere all the way. Driven a 6400, 7400, 7610, and own a 6410. Have driven New Hollands equivalent to the 6100 and its not a contest. Have only driven Cases 7110 and 8910- TONS of power from the 8.3 and fairly reliable but the Deere is still the nicer piece. I have never ...

[quote]It doesn't matter what brand you buy. Completely false. For butterfat content this is true, but sanitation practices within the plant make a huge difference on shelf life. Second, your statement about mastitis is also wrong. Cows with mastitis are flagged and the milk is dumped or fed...

I had a run like that a couple times living in BR. Its extremely difficult to make high high quality milk in the south. The heat raises cow stress, bacteria counts and then the mastitis as a consequence raises the somatic cell count. No matter how well its cooled off or pasteurized, you can't mak...

Had a guy try to down a fifth of Jose Cuervo complete with limes freshman year. There was an inch left in the bottom, but by that time he was hallucinating and having a conversation with Jesus and Martin Luther King. He never did finish it but he lived thru it.
The next year it was gold flake or...

Who is they? If a dog can't walk, 99% of the time it is orthopedic (disk, FCE, neoplasia) or neurologic. They can't very well make a bold statement like that without a thin slice CT (or MRI) and a spinal tap. No theories o...
