So I decided to fire up the old [link=(http://www.tigerdroppings.com/rant/display.aspx?p=40427192)]DIY Sous Vide[/link] machine again and did some ribeyes. They came out tasty, but I don't think there was any benefit than doing them the usual "F&DB way". Here are some pics anyways, enjoy.

I think I expected more. While its not bad i found it not "hoppy" enough. I guess I'm not huge on the carbonation either. It's certainly drinkable, but it wouldn't be my go to ipa.
Only reason I was expecting more is because I don't really like wheats that's much but like Canebrake....

We just got back from there, I really like the place when we are looking for a change of pace. The spinach dish is my favorite and I like the rice pudding!...

lobster actually came out with a decent texture. I steamed them in stages I guess. Took claws off early and realized tails were still fairly frozen, steamed another few minutes. Didn't want to overcook the meat.
...and yes I guess it wasn't "quick" still took maybe 30 mins once stock was done....

Albertson's had buy one frozen cooked lobster get two free, I decided to whip up a quick risotto with some of them.
I was kind of lax on getting some good pics, but here is what I have. It came out pretty good.

Looks like something cool (and easy) to try if you have the stuff laying around. I'd be interested to see if anyone has any experience with this, longest dry aged piece i've ever had was <28 days.

I have the same decision but also throw in shorts and vjax, have to start 3.
With finnnegran out I figure vjax gets a bump up but then does Amendola get a bump too cause it may be more high scoring? I know shorts will be thrown to as pats get big lead an they try to come back....
