silk stocking highland road cannot win this election -- the district is too large and too many candidates in the race now.
Lane Grigsby tried to place certain candidates in the race to gain their ultimate goal as usual. it won't work in this race as too many candidates showed up at the party.

they're all decent candidates who i know personally. The bottom line is that Morvant, Kelly & Higginbotham are the odd candidates b/c they're going after the same votes in Baton Rouge -- which will also be split with Mary Olive, Welch & Guidry.
Guidry will run first with the black vote.

Welch has way more business owners behind him than lawyers -- that's a fact. the problem is that the general public unfortunately doesn't have much interest in a Supreme court race. Lawyers do and thus they're more involved than any other segment of society.
