Perhaps I wasn't clear. Yeah, maybe OU isn't the perfect, ideal example. But his general point is correct regarding big programs vs. small and the difficulty of their respective schedules. You're looking at this too narrowly....

L-O-L. Michigan has what, 1/2 of a national title in the last 50 years? That's 1/2 fewer national titles than Gene Chizik. They have a lot of wins, which is nice; but their national title trophy case is barren.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some coaches would covet certain ones over others.
ND is the toughest job.
OSU is probably the easiest.
Michigan is somewhere in the middle.
ND can recruit nationally better than the other 2, but doesn't have a local base whatsoever, whereas the other 2...

I am about as anti-tax as they come, but this is a fair bill. Bricks and mortar stores pay property taxes and employ 5 times as many employees as online retailers. On top of that, physical stores have to collect state sales tax. I see no reason why online retailers should get an unfair advantage ...

I looked it up. Bama is 2-6 against ND lifetime.
I never ridiculed Bama fans for living in the past, just as I won't do so to ND fans. Both programs have great histories, and with the right coach, both programs will be at the top.

It seems to be widening from a north v. south standpoint, not just by conference - there were a lot of ACC guys taken. Not many northern schools are able to recruit well in the south (ND is probably the exception recently). ...
