re: 1979 Tangerine Bowl.....LSU - Wake Forest - RogerTheShrubber
No crap. What's that thing we do on the first drive where the qb seems to be "pushing" the ball forward and it goes through the air and the guy catches it and the referee signals first down?
Les Miles refers to this as a "great risk" and a short lived fad....
Truth be told, if I didn't receive one gift I would not care.
We don't do adult gifts, they are for the kids. Too much stress buying stuff for people who can easily buy what they want anyway....

re: What's your take on prescription drug laws? - RogerTheShrubber
Pain meds are 1000x more abused than antibiotics. In fact, I do not see that much abuse in antibiotics. Its all about the pain meds today and I monitor it closely.
Yeah, there's really no reason to abuse antibiotics. I don't ever see it being a real serious problem here, from a ...

re: What's your take on prescription drug laws? - RogerTheShrubber
The issue is not people taking antibiotics "recreationally."
Understood, if you read my post you'd see that. There are no tangible reasons for them to take antibiotics unless it's necessary.
The issues are (a) people taking them when they think they need them but are...

Your link shows the US consuming twice as much per capita as India, and it's highly regulated here.
the US still outperforms all other countries, with Americans consuming twice as many antibiotics as Indians.
I wouldn't think it's as much a problem in India as they believe. ...

I really don't think people would abuse antibiotics the way you seem to think they would. I have no urge to take them unless I have to, I imagine most of the population feels the same way. There's no tangible benefit to them outside of what they are made for....
