I try to stay away from the big seafood tourist spots. As to what we are custom to, I would be pissed walking out of the restaurant. Mainly looking for little local hole in the walls or a local spot that most tourists don't know about. The 3 places in the above posts look good....

Yes, as we are only starting to dive would like to get some experience before traveling out of the country to go diving to where we are fully comfortable with our skills. So just looking for some fairly close and good places to dive and do such....

The wife and I are going to PCB at the end of the month to obtain our advanced open water cert. Anybody know some good places to go diving that are closest to Louisiana? Don't want to keep driving to Destin/PCB just to make a diving trip for a day or weekend....
