I use the home made mix as well and they hit it pretty good. I had to quit using solid bricks because they came up missing too often....

I just did the same thing. - bought about a year earlier then planned due to a deal falling into my lap.
If you are sure on the make and the maintenance issues that could arrize and have done your homework on price, then jump on it if thats what you want.

Tahoes are very popular because of their price point. They are as step above a Bayliner. Its a great entry boat to use for a few years, but the ones i have been around start to have issues and fall apart around year 5. Resale on them is not great.

Not true. the top layer of oxidized gel is not shiny. Gel is not thin like paint, you have plenty of room to sand to get down to the "good" gel....

The fiberglass is oxidized, you need to remove the oxidization layer and it will look brand new. It is very labor intensive and time consuming. Exactly how bad is determined by the level of oxidization.

This is certainly possible. Could also have an issue with the wall socket. I have had them short one side and only deliver 110 instead of 220 which isnt enough to run the element...

for a 4 stroke FI I would pull the plugs, quck squirt of fogging oil in the cylinders, bump it a time or two and then put the plugs back in, fill it up with fresh gas, add a can of seafoam and go ride.

I would not put your extra laminate outside. It will not hold up to the moisture and humidity. Other than that, all of your ideas are good.
