That is my exact point. I had the same start as you did as well. Most of us from my area did. Most Americans, immigrants or otherwise, come from a distressed, displaced people. This girl is 29 yrs old, got an education from LSU, works for a living, and comes from a hard working family. Seems like she has no reason to be angry like this, imo. Her life experience/environment was probably better than mine growing up. I'm sure I'll get over it soon enough....

I'm definately going to drop that quote on her. Is she defining "government" in terms of pre- 1865? I understand that Slavery needed to be abolished, civil rights needed to happen as well. But we were not talking in those terms at all. We were just concerned about our misspent tax dollars....

Very true. I was more or less comparing the USM/Hattiesburg environment to ours here. Regardless, I rank these fanatic a-holes among the worst of what is in the world today. And our judicial system is protecting their rights more than the fallen soldier who is protecting us....
