Looks like the great blizzard of 2015 turned out to be a measley little snow storm. Snowfall was less than half of what was predicted. DGAZ to the moon???? Doesn't matter to me, I'm holding both....

Nothing wrong with that. A good way to learn with no real risk yet still having skin in the game. Was just confused when you said you made a 2% profit, and I recalled you only playing with minimal funds. Figured the commissions were eating you up. ...
Well, in and out by 20 mins into the trading day and made a little over 2% profit
I'm not trying to be rude, but aren't you trading like $100 on this? ...

re: Official Penny / MJ Stock Thread - rintintin
Thoughts on backing up the truck for NBG?
I've been watching this one for quite a while. I was in in the low 2's, watched it go up to 3, then come back down. Luckily sold before the big plummet. I just don't know enough about the Greek financial status to confidently buy again. Wh...

Don't waste your money on all kind of supplements and whatnot, if you want to reach your goals just stay consistent in the gym and at the dinner table. Your body will follow suit....

re: More Fatties Than Ever Before in the United States of Inevitable Diabetes - rintintin
BMI is not a good indicator in that it will inappropriately label people with large muscle mass as obese, but those people are such a small percentage of the population it's negligible. BMI is really the only way to measure obesity rates on a large scale....
You do realize that smoking causes like 400,000+ deaths per year? Just a tad higher than the ~88,000 caused by alcohol
So what's the cutoff number? Do we need over 100,000 deaths to ban something? 200,000?
Also, there are many dry counties all over the country that ban a...

re: Side jobs for extra $$$$ - rintintin
I bought a pressure washer and do occasional jobs on the side. Got a few nice gigs that paid $300-$400 for about 4-5 hours of work. If I really put some effort into it I could probably make an easy extra grand or so a month, but I shoot for about one job a month for a few extra hundred bucks....
Sorry but I don't like alcohol. Not only does tt cause ~88,000 deaths a year but it leads to fights and injuries and people acting like jackasses. Since this inconveniences me I say it's high time to ban private establishments from selling alcohol. For the common good and all.
Bu...

Cold drink or Coke. In New Orleans, window signs on gas stations say cold drink. I wonder if that's specifically made for the area, because I've never heard anyone outside of S. LA use cold drink. ...
And hooray for the stereotyping and name-calling of smokers and presenting it as legitimate discourse.
What's funny is the majority of people here arguing against the ban are non smokers, including myself. We just value personal decisions....
