| LSU Recruiting Board|| re: LSU Recruit 6'0 190 Lb Defensive Back Abraham Wallace - TigerNSac on 12/6/13 at 12:03 am|
I like your game. You play very aggressive as a DB, and I am quite sure Coach Raymond is going to enjoy coaching you up.
Good luck with your ACL surgery. Stay postive, optimistic, and confident.
| Tiger Rant|| re: If Miles left, who would you want to coach LSU? - TigerNSac on 11/10/13 at 6:09 pm|
Some people on this board are drinking way too much about coaching possibilities.
David Shaw's next job will be in the NFL. Why would he leave Stanford for LSU, seriously?
When you are successful at Stanford, the NFL is your next stop, period. Bill Walsh, Dennis Green, John Harbaugh, and ...
| LSU Recruiting Board|| re: Ben Simmons, biggest commitment since Shaq? - TigerNSac on 10/14/13 at 7:43 pm|
Ben Simmons is the biggest LSU basketball recruit since John Williams, Crenshaw High School, Los Angeles, CA. UCLA, Kentucky, and Arizona could not believe how he could signed with LSU. His mother is originally from Baton Rouge before she moved to LA.
Congrats on Ben signing with the Tigers. It...
| Tiger Rant|| re: Loston takes the worst angles of anyone on the team - TigerNSac on 9/29/13 at 5:51 pm|
Maybe you might want to blame Coach Chavis, Coach Haley and Coach Raymond instead of one kid taking poor angles. Loston is not in this by himself and if he is the only person you can pick out to blame...this is a poor analysis. Trust me on this one...many players took poor angles on the DL, at LB, i...

| Tiger Rant|| re: Question about 1983 Washington game being 83,000 in stadium cap. of 79,000 - TigerNSac on 9/6/13 at 10:42 pm|
I was at that game in the student section and you can smell the strong whiskey in the air, lol. The game was a complete blowout for the Tigers. A lot of the media people thought Steve Pueller, QB, UW was going to have a big game against us and we ran the ball down their throats and won by the score ...
| LSU Recruiting Board|| re: Corey Raymond >> Ron Cooper- As recruiters - TigerNSac on 5/10/13 at 11:56 pm|
In college football, Coach Cooper was the best DB coach if not one of the nation's best. What he did in the pros cannot be compared to college football. You used a bad analogy there son. The best one would be what one guy said is about his work at South Carolina. He developed more players than Coach...
| LSU Recruiting Board|| re: Corey Raymond >> Ron Cooper- As recruiters - TigerNSac on 5/10/13 at 7:51 pm|
Cooper turned players in stars...the jury is still out on Raymond. You cannot judge what Coach Raymond had done at LSU in one year, compared to Coach Cooper. Cooper is by the far the better coach. Let's see what Raymond can do with his own players as in the ones he recruited. Let's not forget the Ja...

Who cares? This is an LSU board, not ND.
Give your Tigers some love, not a guy who does not have "THE CHEST" to attend LSU and compete in the nation's best conference. Again, who cares?

He is a classy guy and it is unfortunately that he had gotten the disease. I thought his offensive mind would have done wonders for LSU's offense as the Offensive Coordinator.
I wish him well with his family.
Thanks Coach Kragthorpe. :geauxtigers:...
| LSU Recruiting Board|| re: Tony Brown -- what's his story? - TigerNSac on 1/30/13 at 10:03 am|
Show the kid some respect, including his family. Do not think those kids or their families don't read the sports board from time-to-time. Since he is a native of the state of Louisiana...he is not a refugee.
LSU will find out this summer where they truly stand with him in camp. He has been there...
| Tiger Rant|| re: In your opinion , who was LSU's best true freshman, EVER, in football? - TigerNSac on 1/27/13 at 2:50 pm|
I have to go with Tommy Hodson regarding the position he played. Running backs always impact a team greatly with an average or below average QB.
But Hodson as freshmen played the most difficult position on the field. He wins in my opinion handsdown. Hilliard had Garry James as a running mate. ...

Jessie Palmer forgot to mention that USC has no defense. This is where they would lose to a top SEC team. You know the old saying "Defense Wins Championships" in the SEC.

The chapter in this book is not close yet. It is still early in the recruiting process. Give the man time to prove himself before making such a premature statement at this time. He has not played an entire season or a half-a-season to make any logic remarks. At that, you would know if he needs more seasoning or not at all.

Bob Sanders is clearly bigger than TM7, and Sanders played SS a lot in the NFL. TM7 will have to play FS. He is not thick and strong like Sanders nor Troy Polamalu, 5'10", 207lbs. to play SS. TM7 will no doubt have to work on his crossing route coverage skills; otherwise, he is fine. He plays a lot ...

Are the Tigers' coaching staff showing a little despiration or is it part of their recruiting strategy to offer Bona-fide 4-star athletes with scholarships, although they had suffered a serious injury during their Jr. year of H.S. school football?
Thus far, the Tigers have offered 3 scholarships ...

Let's not get carried away with Aaron Rodgers' comments. Matt Flynn played well in Rodgers' absence against a few teams. But, Rodgers is by far Green Bay's best quarterback. Flynn is in a position to act on an opportunity because he will not get it in Green Bay. Rodgers is an elite quarterback. Ther...

Les has gotten smarter over the years since he has been at LSU regarding the play of underclassmen. If El Collins is one of the best Offensive Guards to start, then he will do so. Outside of the last year's senior QBs, Les has played his share of underclassmen, whether that was by attrition or talen...

Being a Marquette player is not a compliment for him unless you meant to say something else. Last year everyone said he had game. This year he is struggling. What I don't understand is the following: if the kid is that bad, then why he is starting? This argument is so typical for a player like him. ...
