Appreciate it. I think I'm going to shift my focus almost squarely on the old exams from the next 2 weeks and only look at the outlines for things that I keep missing when issue spotting the exams....

Are you not taking Barbri? I haven't been very impressed with Barbri thus far, but as long as I get good news in October it will be worth every cent (even though most firms cover bar prep costs nowadays anyway)....
There is a poison ivy spray out there that does work.
Will Home Depot carry it? I'd rather kill it with spray than dig it up and have to mess with it....

I see the concern. I guess it didn't really affect me because I was always intending on taking the LA bar exam. However, if LSU continues to place top students in Houston, then I agree, they need to do away with the basket....

I don't know that LSU would start pulling kids from all over the country if it did away with the mandatory civilian course load. In fact, one of the reasons why LSUs bar passage rating is generally better than Tulane is because of the mandatory civilian course load. Tulane has students that go to Tu...
I seriously doubt HAJIII would take it on any terms.
Which is a shame, because he is very much influential in the civil law and is, from what I hear, one of the best practitioners in the state. I had him for fed courts and he is also a hell of a professor....
Outside of LSU, SU, Loyola, TU, and MC, other schools offer a civil law program?
No, but to the best of my knowledge, none of those other schools require students to take civil law courses. That's what I was getting at. It makes LSU different than Tulane, loyala, southern, and MC....
Can someone breakdown why the civilian professors would be against expanding the law center to include a robust common law program? Essentially, you could have two separate law schools under one roof (not really, but you know what I mean). That would seem to be attractive nationwide. You coul...

Wasn't Bill Corbett a chancellor at another law school before he came to LSU? Not saying they would offer it to him, but I think he has some experience. What is the time frame for a hire like this? Before the start of the fall semester? Also, I don't see how Weiss stays on the faculty if the t...

Out of the 36 faculty listed on the law schools website, 9 are women and 3 are African American. I'm betting that those numbers aren't that far off from the law school averages around the country....
