PP actually did a great job. Sure JJ had 10 catches, but only 89 yards. If I told you before the game the JJ would have less than 100 yards receiving, you would have taken it. The key is they let him catch the short pass, took everyone else away and did not give up the deep ball. Great game plan...

Also, in that the buyout is more like $20mm with the assistants, it would probably cost another $3-5 to buy out the new coach, and once he wins 9 regular season games (LIKELY), the roll over is automatic. We might as well get used to Les, for at least the next two seasons.

I may have to change my opinion of Miles. I appreciate balls, and he appears to have found them again. I think that the last couple of seasons he has played uptight due to the pressure that winning the National Championship in 2007 put on the program.

Florida fans were actually pretty good. Our TV wouldn't get the Bama game so we traded edible food for TV watching privileges.
As for Gestapo, it depends on what you consider bad. We had a couple guys have to poor their beers out, but the officer clearly explained they could drink out of bottle...

A group of us got back from the game and were surprised at some of the comments here. Everyone in the stands was very frustrated when JJ came into the game, and the Florida fans could not believe that we kept playing him.
However, sometimes the stands are not the best place to evaluate gameplay...

Miles and Orgeron are very similar as coaches. Both are inarticuate baffoons that recruit well and don't have a prayer on gameday. Orgeron may cheat more than Miles, but Miles has his own NCAA record. Miles obviously has more advantages than Orgeron had at Ole Miss.

Take a look at the largest donations in TAF history, there just aren't that many people ponying up huge dollars. 100k is considered a huge donation to TAF. Coming up with Gerry D's buyout in a better economy was tough.
