Va Tech. If that game doesn't happen, Va Tech goes to the BCSNG instead of us.

| Tiger Rant|| re: Did the big 12 not having a conference game affect LSU in 2011? - Thorny on 2/21/14 at 11:45 am|
We lost the narrative from the very beginning, when all the stories of the GOTC focused on how Bama "beat us except for the missed field goals". So the opportunity for a rematch to "make things right" was always going to be there if no other undefeated team was available.
The minute OSU missed th...

I recommend "Wheat Belly" by Dr. William Davis.
In essence, the wheat cultivated today isn't the same as the wheat of 50 years ago. The timing of the changes to the plant to make it more profitable correspond to increased obesity and diabetes. The changes in the plant itself means that it does ...

I understand the desire for the rich to have their sanctuaries.
However, golf had better figure out the proper business model to get average, middle-class people interested without breaking the bank, or it is doomed. Look at all of the closed country clubs around: Sherwood, Fairwood, etc.

[quote]It's not about the play itself per se, it's about neutralizing a tactic that limits player substitutions. By coming to the line, the HUNH is eliminating the ability to rotate players. | Tiger Rant|| re: Ncaa proposed rule change for no huddle - Thorny on 2/13/14 at 3:26 pm|
I wonder if anyone proposing this rule remembers that there was a day when if you took a player out of the game he could only return once during that quarter. This meant that most players played both ways. Billy Cannon had to make the defensive stop (with starting QB Warren Rabb) to make his Hallo...

I think Dale Brown was a much better XO guy than he will ever get credit for.
From the middle of the 86 season until the end of the 88 season, the Tigers were one of the most ferocious defensive teams in the NCAA. This happened because of the infamous "Freak" defense. The key to it all was that...

Something is wrong with those glove making gifs. The thumb switches sides of the glove in the middle of the process. On the first, they enter the flame as left-handed and leave right-handed. The real difference on 1/9/12 was that the special teams and defense didn't change the game dramatically like they had all year.
Prior to the game, the punt team had surrendered 6 yards the whole season on punt returns. That means Maze's first return gained seven times the number of yards we had...

Several factors have led to the current season of discontent among LSU fans, and 1/9/12 is the flashpoint for almost all of them.
1. Attending a game, whether home or away, requires a large commitment of time and money. If you are well entertained, it's worth it. Every game of the 11 season wa...

Lots of whining on this thread. Those complaining about the HUNH offenses remind me of Bama fans around me droning their coach's latest theories.
The HUNH is a strategy, with benefits (catching the defense off guard) and costs (reduced playbook). Faking injury is a strategy with benefits (givin...

I really like my Roll-X by Bak. It rolls up like a soft cover. It's rigid aluminum like a roll-n-lock, but can be easily removed and has no in-bed canister. It has a latching system along the whole side of the bed for security. Along with a tailgate lock, it creates a very secure cargo area.

Gimmicks isn't exactly the right word.

I also think that the last two games against Bama hurt us a lot mentally.
Four times before the middle of the third quarter, we had to overcome the "here we go again" syndrome: fumble at endzone, fumble by Mett, PI by Robinson and fake punt. After the way this team has been snakebit by Bama th...
