Sorry.. the salad bar offering is paltry to me.. whether it's $50, $25 or $10.. It's a total rip off. I've been there a couple of times and would have take out from Whole Foods salad bar before TdB. I just find nothing appealing about that place.. Just me....

re: 'Bizarre Foods: Delicious Destinations' NOLA episode airs tonight - bdevill
the "tired" places are going to have more national appeal than the places the locals would like to see.
No offense but I think that's an unfair generalization. People who choose food destinations have more sophisticated palates and are more savvy about choosing where they dine, gi...
People should be happy these shows come to town.
Agreed.. Lots of people from out of town who will be coming for Jazz Fest or whatever occasion, want to get a refresher on what to try out and it's very nostalgic for people who've been and enjoyed themselves. It's good PR for the c...

re: Anyone Have A Good, Simple Garlic & Olive Oil Pasta Sauce recipe? - bdevill
Pasta Aglio E Olio is a delicious, simple and under rated pasta dish that is versatile and should be in everyone's cooking repertoire. This is Ina Garten's recipe and I love it. Ingredients • Kosher salt • 1 pound dried spaghetti • 1/3 cup good olive oil • 8 large garlic cloves, cut into thi...

She was pulling long black strings out of...

Or hell.. the Chevron Station at 600 Kaliste Saloom has a very good Lebanese/Greek deli and at least it's clean. From the loud headbanging music that's piped in over your head at the front counter to the drab grey prefab brick walls and concrete floor, Bread and Circus Provisions would be compa...
