I can see some tax being expected. After all, since you're still a citizen you get consular services. Plus with that American English accent you probably get laid lots overseas so it makes me feel better that you pay in somewhat....

Just call their customer support line and ask them to close the account. Simple as that.
If it isn't a big credit line to start with then you probably aren't impacting your score significantly, and even if it is we still aren't talking like it's a huge deal like being late 30 days would be.

A small quibble - he hasn't sued yet, he filed an intent to sue, whatever the hell that is.

I've lived here since 2000 and still visit the National Cathedral from time to time. The changing of the guard at the Tomb is a must-see.
Honestly I'm a bit bummed on the Smithsonian. Check it out but honestly I'd recommend the Library of Congress instead. The Botanical Gardens is kinda neat too....

I have a 401 already, which serves the same purpose here as a Traditional IRA in the sense that it is pre-tax income. Hence I'm all Roth when it comes to IRA contributions.

Quickbooks is perfectly fine for a small business.
The real question is how important financial controls are to you. The choice of software matters only somewhat - there are lots of businesses that failed because the owners didn't focus on control....

Adventure travel requires a backpack and a tent. If you like being on water, a sailboat probably does also although I don't know much about that.
