I have a great great uncle who was a cavalry officer in the Confederate Army. He was with Lee's army that surrendered at Appomatox.
He had to walk all the way home to Louisiana afterward.
I also had two uncles who fought at the Battle of the Bulge.
My mom's side of the family is full of mi...

There's no SEC team that's going to make this playoff without winning the SEC title. If you think two SEC teams are going to make it in, you are deluding yourself.
This system will reward conference champions. I don't see a committee situation bending over backward to favor the SEC's #2 team ov...
Right it wasn't, but I'm saying it seems like he was homosexual not bisexual
Well, this would be wholly inaccurate, as Augustus Caesar had documented relations with not one, but three wives, and those relations even overlapped with each other (wives one and two). So he's clearly a...

This reminds me of the classic Clint Eastwood/Sondra Locke exchange in "Bronco Billy."
Clint: "I caught my wife sleeping with my best friend, so I shot her."
Sondra: "Jesus... what did you do to HIM?"
Clint: "Nothing. He's my best friend."

I'm 5'8", and I can tell you a couple of things. First, women are easily attracted to men over 6 feet. It's absolutely true. But 71% saying men under 6 feet wouldn't "stand a chance" is skewed. I would put that somewhere around 50%.
Now I would agree to 71% PREFER a man over six feet, but it'...

Augustus Caesar gets my vote, and he should have more votes in this thread.

Stupid, overreactive screeching about birth control, controlling their own bodies, "freedom of choice," is the only way people like this can delude themselves into being relevant.

Great read. I happen to know Y.A. very well. Spent some time with him, been to his house, met the whole family. Great people. Y.A. is every bit as kind and noble as you would expect.
It will be a sad day when he passes.
I only have one thing to point out about the article, though:

So I will just share my other thought, where I thin...

I've never been a fan of Hakim Drops the Ball as a great "Saints" play because it's based mostly on someone else's mistake as opposed to a great Saints effort.

Yes, they have. In the 40's. I know for sure that LSU wore gold on gold in the 1944 Orange Bowl vs. A&M.
One additional benefit of always wearing white is that it sets LSU apart from all the other schools, particularly the ones that change thei...
