re: How do I cook this in the Oven? - Gris Gris
I grilled one on my stovetop gas grill to get the bacon crisp and finished it in the oven. Worked out pretty well, but I came close to overcooking it. It doesn't take much time to cook them. ...

re: Cornbread dressings ... any reason I can't leave giblets out? - Gris Gris
I use Jiffy in another dressing that needs the cornbread to be a bit sweet. Works fine for that. Otherwise, I don't like it at all as just cornbread. I just don't like baking at all or measuring a bunch of dry ingredients for baking. Silly, but I don't enjoy it. ...

I don't use them in my cornbread dressing. I don't use any meat. We have another dressing with sausage in it. I'm making it this weekend for thanksgiving and freezing it unbaked as I do every year when I can't make it a day or two before which is often. ...

re: How do I cook this in the Oven? - Gris Gris
They cook pretty quickly. I do what Walt does and use a meat thermometer. I uncover it the last 5 to 10 minutes to try and crisp up the bacon. That's the one issue with those. The bacon doesn't crisp well baking it covered. You could give it a quick broil, turning it frequently. I browned it in...
