re: Teacher accused of encouraging teen boys to get naked, perform sexual acts - ChiSaint
I say feed him to the Mexican sodomites in the SA prison
But I thought I learned on the OT that if your 16 year old son is banging the teacher, you should high five him and buy him a beer. And the teacher shouldn't go to prison bc clearly teenagers want teacher sex so victimless cr...

re: San Jose is the most Forgettable Major American City, according to data - ChiSaint
I live in San Jose. While a nice place to live and more affordable than the rest of Silicon Valley (though still crazy expensive), there's not much memorable about it. It's really a sprawling bedroom community for the rest of the Bay Area. Before we moved out this way, I thought SJ was a city of lik...

re: Why doesn't DeAndre Jordan try underhand FT's? - ChiSaint
I agree. Was just reading an article about Chinanu Onuaku at Louisville who went from a 46.7% FT shooter to a 59.6% FT shooter by employing the underhand method. While still not great, that is massive improvement. Think about the impact it would have if Jordan could suddenly hit 60% of his FTs....

re: UFC: Dos Anjos injured; McGregor to fight Nate Diaz - ChiSaint
How is Nate not going to pop for weed post-fight? He didn't have a fight scheduled and wasn't in camp so I'm imagining he and Nick were sitting on the couch taking bong rips and watching reruns of Beavis and Butthead at the moment he got the call about the match-up....

re: 133 Players have been named to the Pro Bowl this year, most in NFL history - ChiSaint
so should they just not do the probowl any more?
I don't think they should continue to do a full-contact game if that's what you mean. Make it all skills challenges as others have suggested or, if one insists upon playing football, a flag football game. ...

re: Would you rather have Saban coach your college team, or Belichick your pro team? - ChiSaint
The gap between Saban, Meyer and the third best coach in college football is significantly wider than Belichick vs. the other top coaches in the NFL.
The gap between them and Harbaugh is that wide? Based on what?...

And Djokovic just steamrolled Nadal. So much for the "Big 4". Federer is the only one that can still beat Djokovic with any regularity and he can only do it in a best of 3 format....

re: Is Brandon Marshall a Hall of Famer? - ChiSaint
As of now, no. The Hall has been extremely reluctant to admit receivers (Chris Carter and Tim Brown each took a decade to get in with more impressive numbers than Marshall). In the 50+ year of the NFL HOF, they've only admitted 19 WRs. I just don't see Marshall making it when the following guy...

re: In your opinion, how important are championships to a team-sport players legacy? - ChiSaint
Does a lack of championships (or a very small # of them) stop someone from being an all-time great at their position?
At least in football, right or wrong, it is counted as a huge plus when determining likelihood of making the Hall of Fame. Look at any of the great dynasty teams (...

re: Current WRs (Over 10,000 Career Yards) and the Hall - ChiSaint
I don't think Marshall gets in for the same reason TO hasn't gotten in.
I believe the upcoming year is the first year of eligibility for TO. Team cancer or not, I think he'll be a first-ballot HOFer unless murdering Marvin Harrison takes his spot. In which case he'll get in the f...

re: Current WRs (Over 10,000 Career Yards) and the Hall - ChiSaint
andre johnson, fitz, calvin
I just can't get on board with Andre Johnson. His career numbers look way too close to Henry Ellard's while operating in a much more pass friendly era. His inability to find the end zone is a big negative in my book (he's had 5 or fewer TDs in 8 of his...

Current WRs (Over 10,000 Career Yards) and the Hall - ChiSaint
The Calvin Johnson retirement thread got me thinking, which current WRs are HOFs? For purposes of discussion, let's only look at receivers currently over 10,000 yards as it gets too speculative regarding the futures of the younger receivers. The list includes: Andre Johnson: 1053 - 14,100 - ...
Romo Roethlisberger Those two will be in also
There should be a requirement that you have made at least one All-Pro team to be considered for the Hall. Stats are becoming irrelevant with respect to the passing game due to all the rule changes. It won't be long before the to...

re: How many NFL games would Miles win as a head coach - ChiSaint
I don't see him winning a game. Anybody that knows football can see how clueless he is during the game.
This is ridiculous. So you're saying if he were the head coach of the 2007 NE Patriots, he would have gone 0-16? You realize that Mike Riley won games in the NFL. Hell, M...

re: What's worse: Vehicle with no heat in the winter or no AC during summer? - ChiSaint
Anyone who is saying no heat is better has not lived in a cold weather climate. No AC in August in New Orleans may suck, and result in some sweaty arse clothes, but it's manageable. No heat in January in Chicago is not doable. ...

re: This will be the season where we put to rest the Brady V Manning argument - ChiSaint
Just look at the season when Tom Brady tore his ACL, and Matt Cassell lead New England to 11 wins (IIRC).
let me know how that strategy works out for you.
I'm not disagreeing that arguing with a cop is a bad idea. I don't do it b/c it's not worth the potential outcome (plus I'm a clean cut white male who drives a nice car - not really a target for cop abuse). But the fact that ...
