I've been doing all 4 of our vehicles at 5 for a long time now and no problems. One has over 100K....

Go with raised, you won't regret it. Easier to work up, better drainage, less weeds growing into them from yard, etc.
I only converted mine two years ago and wish I would've done it LONG ago....
