Every Guard/Reserve unit has a local USERRA representative. I would suggest contacting the local rep in your area and see what the rules are for your specific issue....

Thanks for all the great OT prayers and support. The surgery went smoothly. The dr said her uterus was much bigger than it looked on the sonogram and had a lot of blood vessels coming into it that shouldn't have been there. I'm guessing her body didn't appreciate having 3 c-sections in less than 5 y...

My wife just went in the OR for a hysterectomy. She's only 27. So even though we already have 3 children, she's not happy about having this done.

I just bought a lava lamp off of antennadeals.com. It claims to have 120 mile range. But I haven't tried to play with the positioning yet to get outside the local area....

Like someone else said, keep all your options open. There's a really good Air National Guard unit in Belle Chase. There's also a lot of folks from the Baton Rouge area in our Air Guard unit in Jackson. I would talk to several different recruiters and people in various units before making a decision...

Why are the news channels already reporting results for Florida? The polls in the Panhandle don't close until 7:00. People that haven't voted yet could decide to just stay home or have their vote swayed one way another based on the results that are already being reported. Didn't these news folks ...

That's a great question. But an even better question is why didn't each secretary of state do their job and validate each candidate? Had just one of them went out on a limb and raised the question with the supreme court precedence, then 2008 wouldve looked a lot different....
