re: The Debt Bubble Is About to Burst? - CajunTiger92
Doesn't look like the market needs the pullback I thought to advance. Buyers jumping in on somewhat weakness this morning is a very bullish sign. Market seems ready for the break out to new highs in the SP500 previously mentioned....

re: Airlines threaten to hire private security as TSA lines get longer and slower - CajunTiger92
It is worth reminding people that the reason why we have federal TSA employees at the airport is because the Democrats in Congress insisted on it. As originally proposed, it would have been handled through contracts much like the airlines want to do now. ...

You might be right, particularly if the market strings together some more beats. One thing that has been bothering me lately though is the action with Facebook. It has been swinging wildly. ...
Nuts4LSU
Good catch. It seems though when discussing such things don't really matter. What really matters is how unfair everything is. I fixed it none the less. ...

re: The Debt Bubble Is About to Burst? - CajunTiger92
Well, the JPM beat gave things a boost and the Fed did the rest to get things past the 2060 level. There are other resistance levels ahead. I'm hoping for a pull back to help set up the next advance forward. I think the downside is limited for now, in the 1950-2000 SP500 level. ...

Today is Equal Time Off Day - CajunTiger92
It is time for the people of this nation to face facts. According to Dept. of Labor statistics, women work 4.9 hours less than men during the average work week. That equates to approximately 255 hours or 6.4 work weeks in a year. That means that men, just for being men, are having to work almost ...

re: The Debt Bubble Is About to Burst? - CajunTiger92
The big part of the earnings decline is O&G and while that sector is not going back to where it was anytime soon, the y/y comparisons will start looking better. As I mentioned before, the P/E ratio on forward earnings is around 16. Upside earning surprises will only be more fuel for the bulls. ...

re: The Debt Bubble Is About to Burst? - CajunTiger92
Well on a long term basis, earnings matter a lot. With regards to your question, I think the earnings declines you mentioned are bottoming out. That leaves room for some surprises to the upside. Add to that sentiment changes and money on the sidelines with money managers worried about missing an u...

re: The Debt Bubble Is About to Burst? - CajunTiger92
Business Insider articles need to be taken with a grain of salt. The market has been short term over bought for awhile and is currently working through that. As such, this creates an opportunity for buying not selling. Regarding P/E, I think the market has already factored in an earnings decline...
