re: Anyone put up bat houses for mosquito control? - TBoy
We had bats swirling all around the house last night in Lafayette. I've thought about putting up houses, but they seem to do ok without them....

Louisiana fishing licenses expired June 30 - TBoy
If you haven't renewed, this is a friendly reminder to do so. Also, LDWF is running some kind of raffle if you get your fishing license online and provide an email address. They are giving away a bunch of gift cards and a boat. If you haven't done it already, do it. About the online license, y...

re: Plumbing advice needed - Update with solution - TBoy
Here's the update. I sprayed it twice last night and once this morning with pb blaster and tapped around the pipe each time. Came back this evening and the bastard still wouldn't budge. The solution was to hacksaw about two threads off the top of the outside copper pipe and grip just above the top...

re: Plumbing advice needed - Update with solution - TBoy
Pb blaster hasn't loosened it and vice grips aren't doing it. As a faucet handle it still functions, so I could leave it for now. I'm curious if a professional could get it. Sucks because faucet stems and seats is not typically difficult work....

Trying to switch out two bathtub faucet stems to stop constant drip. They are older style brass screw in stems.
No one is requiring you to marry a man.
I know, dude. I wish I had thought of it, but my original comment was inspired by an article in The Onion about ten years ago under the headline "Massachusetts Supreme Court Orders All Citizens To Gay Marry." Hysterical. As for the rul...
