There is no way the wheel ends up favoring the smaller market teams.
I'd like a modified wheel proposal. I think the top five picks should rotate from year to year. Every six years the Lakers, Rockets, Knicks etc getting a top five pick is good for the sport and in the mean...
Yeah I hate the draft wheel idea with a passion. Helps big market teams way too much.
People think that but I think the opposite might play out. I think you end up with more big name but marginal players getting stupid contracts because they started out in a big market.

I haven't read through the thread to know for sure but I assume someone has already brought up the proposal of the draft wheel in which your draft order is fixed by year and does not change with the outcome of the regular season.
This would eliminate the desire of some teams to tank since the re...

threads like these make me wonder how many men will start doing what many women already do. Find a partner willing to help have a baby with and then raise it sans permanent partner. it sounds suboptimal given the lack of an innate role model of both sexes and given that it would require a lot more...

If officers were required by law to wear cameras at all times I'm not sure what the police union could do about it really.
I'm not in favor of easy termination but I am in favor of aggressive prosecution of bad cops. Going to jail should be the immediate recourse for abuse of power, assault, etc...

I still enjoy it when I watch it on television randomly. I can't honestly say whether I would like it as much if I were 20 years younger and watched it for the first time today though.

I think MSU is pretty good this year. If they started the year ranked as highly as Ole Miss I expect they would be ranked about the same.
So far I think LSU is about as advertised. Probably a bit better than expected on defense (which is nice) and maybe a step less dominant on offense than I ho...

I think the outrage over the incident was greatly magnified because of a sense that a non violent drug offense (which offers no performance advantage and therefore is not a separate competitive issue) was being punished very heavily while Rice treated his SO like Tina Turner on her first honeymoon.
