I'm curious about the age of people posting about the stadiums, in general.
There seems to be a tendency to consider anything that isn't modern, as terrible- which it isn't. A good case study is Vanderbilt's football stadium, which people bash in a round about way-- when really, it just isn'...

Every state, if you look hard enough, is going to have bright spots and bad spots.
Overall, I'd ignore the state borders in general, and discuss areas not ideal for living in, by my reckoning and experience.
Western Nebraska is on my list; hours and hours away from anything, brutal winters, a...

Is there any coach...

I would derive their value from who they are, rather than what they do. A doctor, a lawyer, a SAHM-- all are worthwhile, and none would disappoint.

She's only 38; yes, that's a big number to you college age kids, but she's also a highly fit person who gets a ton of dance-based exercise, so her holding up well shouldn't be that big of a surprise....

It is interesting to wonder what kind of line you have to cross with Petrino to get him to say 'That's just too unethical for me to keep him here'. I'm guessing he hit on Bobby's girlfriend while getting a DUI....

Someone offered one interpretation, but there is another that has a lot of currency among my Swiss and French friends; the depiction on the new cover closely matches some of their artistic depictions of Muhammad; the idea is that Muhamm...

People give the Patriots grief for the quality of the AFC East, but they also have a hand in just how bad it is; think of all the years a Buffalo, a NYJ, or a Miami has been at that 7-9, 8-8, 9-7 type might-be-breaking-through-to-compete, and a loss to New England has sent them reeling into a tail...
disagree here. A player that is sieve defensively will be exploited by great teams to the extent that he hurts his team. Secondly, open shots are great for the other four players, but that is what the defense wants (i.e. "make someone else beat you")
Just for reference, in the shot clock era:
Fewest points in an NBA game:

54 -- x-Utah at Chicago, June 7, 1998.
55 -- Indiana vs. San Antonio, March 29, 1998.
