The only way the DirecTV installation could have caused your cable Internet service to go out is if they used the coax feed for you Internet which is beyond highly unlikely. If the Internet was working after the installer left this was not the case and again it's not something I'd expect in a milli...

Pay yourself as little as possible from your business as long as you possibly can. I didn't take a dime for the first 6 months after I was in it full time and gave myself gradual raises as the business grew to the level to support me....
