did a 40 day $1000 weight loss bet. 4 days remain. basically whoever of the 2 of us lost more pounds wins. any tips for the last 4 days? I'm guessing emphasis on dehydration tactics....

I don't think they've taken a trajectory similar to the Thunder.. even though as others have alluded they've made some nice roster moves, they still have a lot of work to do.
They do have a superstar for the future, but now it's about finding a 2nd option and solid role players. They're ranked 27...

Yes I think he will be a top 5 player sometime around 2015 or 2016, and also the best PG in the game.
His defense will improve. It's hard for a 20 YO to be great defending in the NBA....

ALdridge is a top 5 PF, but outside of that, none of those guys are top 5 at their position, hhell Batum might be the only one top 10.
It's a decent starting 5.. that's about it....

There is absolutely nothing impressive about that starting 5. They are not even a top 12 team in the NBA.
The Blazers disappointment is enormous. Keep in mind many people were declaring this team a contender for lonng time.

I would lean towards them winning too, but I also thought they'd beat the Bobcats.
Really hard working team but their talent deficiency is starting to show..I think they're on pace to attempt the least FTAs of all time. although they're probably unlucky as shite not to have 2-3 more wins.

Ben Wallace was absolutely the best player on that Pistons team. They won because of a suffocating defense. Who do you think was the anchor of that? Chauncey fricking Billups or Ben Wallace?

Again, Ben Wallace was the best player on that team. also that was a once in a generation defense.
PGs do not matter in the NBA, it's a fill in position.
It's going to be hard for a CP3 led team to ever win a championship. Bigs and wings reign supreme...

Duncan and Garnett were the best players on those teams. Rondo was nothing more than a role player and 4th best player on that team.

Didn't say they were unbeatable, in fact implied the opposite. the Spurs can beat them. Hell, if the Grizzlies could somehow fluke their way into the Finals it presents a difficult matchup for the Heat.
However if it's the Thunder, Heat in 6.
