My line of demarcation has always been November 3, 1982. A huge rise in the stock market that day. The Carter-era recession was declared over. And Michael Jackson released Thriller a couple weeks later, starting the era of celebrity worship that has led to Kardashians being famous.
I've said it before and I will say it again, those individuals who pay no net taxes have no business voting in my opinion.
I will follow that up with this qualifier, corporations who pay no net taxes should be disallowed from participating in lobbying and contributing to campaigns.
