re: Official I Don't Want to Make the Playoffs anymore thread. - chinesebandit76
I joked about not wanting to make the playoffs the last few weeks. After this week, this joke turned into reality. I have no interest in watching this team get embarrassed in the playoffs by SEATTLE or Dallas. Top 10 draft pick would serve this team much better....

Don't really care who we play or where. If we don't prepare for next year, it won't matter anyway....

re: Has there been a single game where Harris did not outplay Jennings? - chinesebandit76
This is the crazy thing with Les. If you are one of his chosen few(jefferson, Jennings) a bad game or bad series means nothing. He still trots them out there. Harris had one bad outing and he is not allowed to play again. Quinn drops a couple of passes, and he only sees the field for a couple of ...

re: 10 blown calls by refs that ensured Bama beat LSU, with images - chinesebandit76
I have a question about how the LSU penalty on Vadal and the penalty on the Alabama o-linemen in OT were assessed differently. Why was the LSU penalty a 2nd and goal from the 21 after the 15 yard penalty, and the Alabama penalty a 1st and 10 instead of a 1st and goal from the 16? Considering Bama ...

Of all the bad calls, the worst was ... - chinesebandit76
The illegal block on Leilito. That was simply awful. The lions player was looking right at him. The lions player was trying to make a play on the ball carrier. There was nothing illegal about that block....

re: QB prediction thread: Who's going to start this week? - chinesebandit76
Like the rest of us I would normally say that new JJ would start; however, I am going to go against my better judgement and say Harris starts. I was following along on Twitter during Miles presser, and the reporters felt like Miles had a different attitude than after previous losses. Maybe, for on...

Basketball style of play - chinesebandit76
Anyone else wondering where was this "up tempo push the ball up the floor" style most of the season? It is definitely more fun to watch, and the players seem to be more engaged....

re: LSU players - chinesebandit76
OBJ would fit a great need, and 27 is about the range he is supposed to go. Saints need a player to stretch the field. I like Landry as well, but he is too similar to most of the Saihts current targets. He has great hands, but he lacks speed....

re: What's been a bigger issue on the road: line play or play calling? - chinesebandit76
Honestly, I don't believe our road play is as bad as all of the pundits would have you believe. 2 of the losses came on the final drive of the game. In both games, the Saints could have put the game away, but chose to play conservative and it but them in the butt. The St.Louis game was a difficul...

re: Now that Bill O'Brien has left for Houston, who becomes Penn State's top target? - chinesebandit76
True, no College experience, but he is a Penn State alum with many years of both playing and coaching experience in the NFL which is a big selling point with recruits....

Ok, time to bring this thread back to the coaching search for Penn State. Schiano- I wouldn't want this guy. Munchak- this would be a great move for both parties. Golden- this is his dream job and he would not leave for a long time....

Munchak makes a lot of sense. A guy with NFL experience who is an alum. Also, I don't think Tennessee would put up a fight to keep him from leaving. ...

Now that Bill O'Brien has left for Houston, who becomes Penn State's top target? - chinesebandit76
Adam Schefter is reporting the Texans and Bill O'Brien are negotiating a deal. Obviously this does not mean he will go, but if he does who does Penn State target? Al Golden? Also, does this mean Texas and Penn State will be battling for the same high profile coach?...
