re: Taj Mahal Grill- Lake Chuck - SWLATiger
Jamaican place is Taste-Rite 337-419-1844, 2305 Opelousas Street, across from the Exxon on Opelousas and I-10. The jerk chicken I had was good, a little dry. The ox tails were very good. I think they are closed Sunday and Monday. ...

re: Building New House -- What additional amenities should I consider? - SWLATiger
A couple of helpful hints. Put heavy gauge PVC pipe under driveway (capped on both ends) in a couple of locations in case you ever want to run power or water to other side... Switched electrical outlets under soffits is nice. Hose bib on every exterior wall...we purchased our home and there...
Ledoux most certainly had a spiral brand on his back. Anyone chasing down a line of reasoning based on Ledoux not having a spiral mark is going the wrong direction.
I'm not going that direction, just never saw the brand or tattoo......

At first, I thought they got the wrong guy because he didn't have the spiral tattoo...I looked again last night and still didn't see it. Lange specifically mentions a "tattoo". Does someone have a screenshot of Ledoux's tattoo/brand? Thanks...

FYI, the damper system on the PK is exceptional. As a result, you can control flare ups and temp well. I've used mine for high temp searing to low and slow smoking....

re: Any of you used/have one of these: Portable Kitchen Grill/Smoker - SWLATiger
I've got one. GREAT grill, my Father had one from the time I can remember until I went to college. The grates rusted out, he purchased something else and gave the PK away. I purchased my PK almost 3 years ago. Love that damn grill. One of my best purchases ever. I purchased one for my Fath...

Rub with a lil olive oil, salt pepper & garlic powder, then top with tarragon flakes. Grill over the fire (350 ish) till it flakes, don't overcook, the "goo" is a sign it is done. If you wish, spritz with some fresh lemon on the plate and/or place each serving on top of a pat of butter. One of my...

They used to have a live cam. I've eaten there twice. Steak was comparable to Outback. My daughter enjoyed the limo ride from the hotel to the restaurant and back. I considered it as a tipsy taxi! The appetizer with the fried jalepeno rings and mountain oysters was good. It is touris...

Love my 2010. Drove GM for many years, got out of trucks and drove a smaller SUV for a few years. Decided to go back to a truck...drove a 2010 Chevy, not impressed. Drove the Dodge after reading several reviews. I was skeptical but was blown away by the refinement in comparison. Have a friend w...
