re: Anyone workout with a training mask? - chinese58
No pop. Never has looked like a tear in the muscle, but after the swelling & bruising went away there was about an inch long red slash under the skin in the fold of my elbow. Now there's nothing. It's just sore....

re: Does the thought of love depress you? - chinese58
That's the way I felt about cocaine for at least six months after I quit doing it. Couldn't get it out of my head during that time because I'd dream about doing it. I'd wake up in the morning feeling just as depressed as I'd been when I'd actually gone through an 8-ball. They say time heals all ...

'How Superman Defeated the Ku Klux Klan' on AHC - chinese58
In the 1940s, The Adventures of Superman was a radio sensation. Kids across the country huddled around their sets as the Man of Steel leapt off the page and over the airwaves. Although Superman had been fighting crime in print since 1938, the weekly audio episodes fleshed out his storyline ev...

re: Some Louisiana music documentaries on TCM tonight - chinese58
My first time seeing all of them too. Enjoying them all. The ones about Cajun food started at 10 pm. They are catching, killing and eating everything! I wish they'd had them on this afternoon because I'm getting hungry. They have Cajun music playing while they cook, so there's still some music in th...

re: Protest in Katy Texas? - chinese58
Regardless of the issue, people should not protest/picket at individual's homes. When Ron Kirk was the mayor of Dallas, people used to protest in front of his house every day. Go protest in front of city hall or in the case of Katy, the station where the trooper works. ...

Watching Red Light 1949 now. Love George Raft in everything I've seen him in. It's also got Raymond Burr (Perry Mason on TV, villain from Rear Window, Ironside TV, etc.) and Harry Morgan (MASH TV). It's OK. Going to watch these: 8:45 Central: Kiss Me Deadly (1955) ...
