I am thinking Boucherie is the one, but it may be too casual. Not looking to impress anyone, however I would like it feel like a night out, not just eating.

Will be in town in a couple of weeks and looking to try a restaurant we haven't been to yet. While Peche would be my first choice, it is booked solid.

We went when it first opened, 2004 I think. It was named Ikal del Mar then. It was incredible. I think it has expanded since then, but the room was great, cool bathroom/outdoor shower and the plunge pool was nice. I agree with the posters above if it is a straight forward trip. But if you are going off the beaten path or are looking for something special, an agent can be a help.
Also, they will note on all the bookings that it is a honeymoon and will try to score you upgrades....

Actually, I haven't found one I don't like. First discovered it in NYC 10 or so years ago. Made my day when I saw it in the Ruston Super 1. Making it isn't hard, but Sabra is convenient and as good as homemade. Kind of like Hellman's mayo. You could make it, but why?...

Sabra is at Super1, Brookshires & Sams. Best prepared hummus I've found. Toasted pine nut is my favorite, but the plain and roasted red pepper are good also....

My wife made it her mission to make the perfect one. Tried at least a dozen recipes. This was the best. But leave out the optional orange zest. Better without it.

I agree about LBK's being greasy. Don't know if my heart or waistline could take that much "practice".
I think Johnny's regular pizza in much better than the buffet. Almost like two different recipes.

The Townhouse closed 10 - 15 years ago. It's a chiropractor's office and sunbed place now. I don't remember what could have been at the intersection. I remember the Dairy-etta in the lot just down from the Townhouse. And of course the A& W out towards the stadium....

Priceline - name your own price - is the way to go. Earlier this month I got 4* Wyndham Riverfront for Wed/Thur night at $57/night. Then got 4* Renaissance Arts on Friday night for $52/night.
All depends on occupancy/conventions in town, but you should be able for find a 3 or 4* for under $100...
